I lived in this building more than twenty years ago when I was expecting my first child. It was not exactly the most luxurious place that I've ever lived but I always admired the solid wood trim (painted of course), the old claw-foot tub, and the great view of Somerset and Wellington.

I used to spend my time imagining how beautiful these appartments once were and watching the world go by from my balcony.

I shopped at Nesrallah's often and remember Romeo well. The store had the most unusual layout back then, it was actually two separate rooms. I wonder if it's still like that. Maybe some day I'll pay the place a visit, just for old time's sake.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

Jennifer
