The Middle East Bakery is a family business that makes excellent pita breads with different coatings like sumac, yoghurt, mint , cheese or ground lamb. You can walk in with two dollars and walk out with an excellent lunch/snack.

Toast! This one burned on the night of Saturday, June 17. No injuries, no known cause.
No it didn't toast! It is alive and well. The only toasty part is the wonderfil smell of the pita bread baking pre-dawn. Great cheese. I once asked the baker what zataar was. His reply, 'in zataar, you have zataar.' Now I know better thanks to Google.

Yeah, it re-opened pretty soon after that, fortunately. I just assumed the destruction inside was total since, hey, it's Somerset.
